Merlin Travel Group Ltd are members of PTS (Number 5434). The PTS trust account solution and insurance model offers full package travel regulation compliance, ensuring our clients money and holiday is secure and booked in line with all legal requirements.
Client funds are much safer in a trust fund like the Platinum standard trust fund that PTS operate, compared to an ABTA travel agency, which can use those funds as business cashflow until the customer's holiday has to be paid to the tour operator/supplier, or be refunded.

When selling to UK consumers, all travel businesses are required to comply with the package travel regulations. As a result, we are legally required to provide consumer protection.
Both UK and international travel must be covered.
Ground-based travel and bookings without flights must also be package travel regulation compliant. Bookings with flights must also be ATOL protected.
Travel bookings are considered a high ticket item, and as such, all consumers should be aware of the protection in place when booking.
Preventing fraud and ensuring consumer protection in travel is of the utmost importance.
